COVID TESTING IN NYC

Affiliated Physicians tapped GoGORILLA to promote testing as part of their COVID-19 response team for the Department of Homeless Services. Teams equipped with flyers, posters and PPE set out to interact with clients at DHS shelters to increase testing in these facilities throughout the city. Over the course of the campaign, the teams perfected how to best convince both staff and clients to participate in testing and COVID-19 safety measures, as well as how to overcome access and communication issues at COVID-fatigued facilities, and with sometimes hostile or otherwise hard to reach clients. The result of the effort was that the number of DHS residents getting tested during each monthly visit has increased across the board, and has tripled as some of the facilities.
